As a non-EU citizen, what should I do upon my arrival in Italy?

Upon arrival in Italy, NON-EU students should submit the documents for the residence permit (Permesso di soggiorno) within 8 working days.

To do this, the student should go to the nearest post office with his/her passport and ask for an Immigration KIT ( Kit Immigrazione).

Once the form is completed and papers gathered the kit has to be handed in at the post office again.
